Be accurate and honest
Describe items, condition, included parts, pricing, availability, and pickup arrangements accurately. Do not conceal damage, defects, recalls, missing pieces, ownership disputes, or restrictions on use.
Keep listings low risk
Do not list weapons, hazardous materials, medical devices, safety-critical equipment, modified or recalled products, illegal items, vehicles, heavy industrial machinery, or anything the platform marks as prohibited.
Inspect at pickup
Owners should provide clean, complete, working items and any necessary instructions. Renters should inspect the item before accepting it, photograph significant existing damage, and report material concerns before use.
Use and return responsibly
Use items only for their intended purpose and within manufacturer limits. Do not lend them to unauthorized people, modify them, remove safety features, or use them while impaired. Return items on time, reasonably clean, and with all included parts.
Communicate respectfully
Keep communication focused on the rental. Harassment, discrimination, threats, fraud, off-platform payment pressure, retaliation, and misuse of personal information are not allowed.
Document problems
When something goes wrong, stop using the item if safety is in doubt, preserve messages and photographs, and report the issue promptly. Do not fabricate damage, alter evidence, or make knowingly false claims.
